Forgive my ignorance, but what is Paczki Day? And where is Hamtranck?
Paczki Day is also known as Fat Tuesday, where many Catholics chow down on paczki before they start fasting on Lent. Many non-Catholics like myself enjoy this day for the purposes of eating tasty paczki!
Hamtramck is a suburb of Detroit, populated by Polish Americans many whom operate bakeries that make the paczki
