Welk Musical Family has been bestowed a great award, it is the "One Lovely Blog Award"

I'd like to thank Gilligan for this honor, the academy and everyone responsible for making this blog a success, especially you the fans who regularly drop in and read my Champagne related rants.

Musical Family Kids - Samuel Griffiths

We all first met him many many years ago as a baby on the 1984 Lawrence Welk Christmas Special, he is the youngest son of Brent and Sandi Griffiths who joined his older siblings in singing "Away In A Manger".

That's Sam in the middle, with his famous Music Maker mom to the left and sister Ami to the right when they taped their wrapround segments for the episode "This Colorful World"

Today, Sam is the proud owner of a Masters Degree from BYU, and is currently living in China where he teaches English to high school students in the Hunan Province.

It's basically consists of pictures and photos of Lawrence Welk, his Musical Family and action from the show along with some behind-the-scenes action.

Welk Musical Family has made a succesful Test Pattern!

A hearty afternoon to all my fellow Welkies out there. It's been about six months or so since I launched my companion blog for Welk Musical Family.com...and I am happy to tell you all that the major media has taken notice and like what they have seen!
