Ten years of Welknotes
This month marks the 10th anniversary of Welknotes.
I first joined this fine Yahoo! Group back in 2002, and had the pleasure of making so many new friends who share one thing in common.
Lawrence Welk and his Musical Family
I'm very happy to extend my congratulations to the group's founder and moderator, Judy Shaw for an amazing ten years of bringing people together and keeping the Maestro's legacy alive.
So come along and visit Welknotes, or better yet....become a member today!
They also have a terrific companion webpage filled with pictures too.

Six Degrees of Gail Farrell #7
It's been quite a while, but I feel the time is right to have Gail in another Six Degrees Of....
Today we'll link her with actor, singer extraordinaire Susan Anton!
And away we go!
1. Susan guest starred on an 1983 episode of The Love Boat alongside fellow guest star Linda Evans
2. Linda was a member of the ABC team on Battle of the Network Stars X with Scott Baio as team captain
3. Scott was one of the co-ringmasters on Circus Of The Stars #7 with Peter Scolari as one of the star studded performers
4. Scolari co-starred with Bob Newhart in the CBS sitcom Newhart
5. As for ol' Bob himself, the theme song for Newhart was composed by none other than Henry Mancini
6. And Hank himself guest starred on the Lawrence Welk Show with Gail Farrell
It's a small, star-studded world.....don't you think?

Well, I think the time is right for a new Champagne Five and today we put the spotlight on our favorite Latin Bombshell, Anacani!
And the list will be the Blogmaster's All Time Favorite Songs sung by Anacani on the show, I hope they will be your favorites too.
5. Sugartime (1974)
2. Rancho Allegre (1979)

But seriously, it's hard to find favorites since any song Anacani performs is a masterpiece....you never find genuine talent like that anymore.
