Well, I am back home, tired just like any traveler.

But it was worth as I had fun, fun, fun. As in Welk Stars in concert fun.

That's me with the lovely Anacani. There's more of that where it came from!

In addition to Anacani, Guy & Ralna, Ken Delo and Mary Lou Metzger sang and dance on stage, to the delight of yours truly, my friends at Welknotes and the fans at the American Music Theater on Father's Day.

Lawrence Welk's 50th Anniversary Album

This nice collecters item, which can be found on ebay, was first published in 1974 to celebrate Lawrence Welk's 50 years in show business.

Who would have thought that back in 1924, a North Dakota farmboy whose parents were German immigrants, had little formal education and spoke little English would one day become one of America's most popular and successful musical personalites?

They were taken this past Tuesday at the Vintage Champagne symposium held at the Paley Center.

If you want to see them in larger sizes you have to register to the site to do so, but it's worth it....they are very nice!
