Gail on Match Game

Right now on GSN, Match Game is airing the week of episodes with Gail Farrell on the panel.

Well, to be exact....four-fifths of that week, they skipped an episode again, the one I NEEDED to complete my collection!

I just wish the network (GSN) did not skip episodes....who knows what we are missing?

All I needed was episode #111 from season one of the syndicated Match Game (aired 1979 to 1982), that's the Monday show where Gail makes her debut on the panel.

Anyone who has a copy, contact me....we'll negotiate a deal!

Take a BLANK at these!

Here are some new pictures of Gail Farrell's tour of duty on Match Game.

From a Round One question: In Hollywood, Sid said, "I just saw the Goodyear blimp, well it was either the Goodyear blimp or it was BLANK wearing a silver suit"

Gail answered, "Orson Welles" and that was a match!
And here's a Round Two question on the following show: Rita said, "The world is a mess, everything is sinking, even my BLANK is lower than last year!"

Gail's answer? Derriere. However it was not a match.
As always, the shows are fun to watch.....she did the Champagne Music Makers very proud indeed!

Gail Farrell on Match Game

Got to watch one of Gail Farrell's appearances on Match Game, these are from her first time around.....the 1979-80 season.

While they are always fun to watch, I think GSN must be episode-skipping again because I think they showed her second episode of her first five.

I hate it when they do that! Especially since I only have the last two shows of that cycle and I needed the first three to complete the set, to go along with my set of the entire 1981-82 cycle....her second time on the show.

If anyone has a copy of her first MG episode, or maybe her third if they skip episodes again....let me know.

It's More Than Just Password....It's

From 1979, GSN is showing a week's episodes featuring our Janet Lennon as one of the celebrity contestants! Here she is featured to your left with host Allen Ludden and game show icon Monty Hall.

So far, from what I have watched....Janet has proven to be a very good Password player, plus her years on the Welk show have made her a very entertaining and easy to root for. Here's Janet trying to guess the password from clues given by her partner.

And towards the end of the show, knowing that she's on the show...this following puzzle is an ode to Janet's association with the Champagne Music Makers, but in a cruel twist of fate...it was Monty Hall's team that guessed the puzzle correctly and won $100 dollars! Here's the puzzle below.

And the password for today is "Wunnerful", which means that both shows on TV are simply "wunnerful, wunnerful!"
